Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PintSaver ("we", "us") collects when you use pintsaver.app (the "Service"), how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

When you paste a Pinterest link into PintSaver, we process the URL you submit in order to retrieve the available download options. We also automatically log basic technical information for security and reliability purposes, including your IP address, browser/user agent, the referring page, and the time of the request.

PintSaver does not require an account or registration, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information from visitors using the core downloader.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to process your download request, protect the Service from abuse (for example, rate-limiting excessive requests), and understand aggregate usage (such as daily request volume and success rates) so we can maintain and improve the Service.

Third-Party Content

PintSaver does not host or store the videos, images, or GIFs you download. When you use PintSaver, your request is used to locate publicly available media hosted on Pinterest's own servers, and the file is delivered to you from that source. Your use of Pinterest, and any content available on it, remains subject to Pinterest's own terms and privacy policy.

Cookies and Tracking

PintSaver does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Basic server logs described above may be retained for a limited period for security, debugging, and abuse-prevention purposes.

Data Retention

Request logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, after which they may be periodically deleted or aggregated.

Children's Privacy

PintSaver is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
